Our Mission
To make freight forwarding feel like the rest of modern software — fast, transparent, and built around the user.
TFFx is a digital-first freight forwarder, built in India. We exist for shippers who refuse to accept opaque pricing, missing updates, and stacks of paperwork as the cost of moving goods across the world.
Our story
Freight forwarding hasn't fundamentally changed in decades. Quotes still take days to arrive — often after multiple emails and a chain of phone calls. Documents still move on paper, couriered between agents, exporters, customs, and consignees. Shipments still vanish into a black box between origin and destination. The shipper — the one paying for all of this — is too often the last to know what's happening to their own cargo.
TFFx exists because none of that needs to be true anymore. Carriers, ports, and customs systems are increasingly digital. The forwarder layer between them and the shipper is the bottleneck — and that's the layer we're rebuilding. Instant quotes instead of email threads. Live tracking instead of "any update?" calls. Documents that move themselves instead of folders that travel by motorbike. The goal is simple: make the experience of shipping a container feel closer to the experience of shipping an email.
We started in India deliberately. India is one of the most logistically complex trade markets in the world — multi-port routing, multimodal transit, GST and customs documentation, regional fragmentation across modes and languages. If we can make freight forwarding work here, we can make it work anywhere we choose to grow.
Our Mission
To make freight forwarding feel like the rest of modern software — fast, transparent, and built around the user.
Our Vision
A world of trade where every shipment is visible, every document is digital, and every price is honest — by default, not by exception.
Pricing without footnotes. Status without mystery.
Every price is the price you see. Every status update is the most current truth we have. When we don't know something, we say so — including how often the data refreshes and how confident we are in an ETA.
Less time on logistics admin.
Every minute a shipper spends chasing an update or assembling a document is a minute taken from their actual business. We measure ourselves by how much of that time we hand back.
A process choice, not a marketing line.
Optimised routing, smart consolidation, paperless documentation — every workflow is examined for the lighter alternative. We're patient with our claims; we'll only publish numbers we can defend.
Your shipment data belongs to you.
Freight data is business data. Origin, destination, commodity, value — these are signals about how a company is growing. We protect that data like our own — because handling it carelessly would be handling a customer's strategy carelessly.
Traditional freight forwarding is slow because it was designed around phone calls, faxes, and paper folders. TFFx is designed around the shipment — every interaction, every document, every update lives in one place, available to the people who need it.
A web portal bolted onto a phone and email operation.
Not a digital veneer over an analog operation. The platform is the operation — quotes, bookings, documents, and tracking are computed and stored as live data, not generated as PDFs after the fact.
A different desk, and a different system, for every mode.
Air, ocean, road, rail, multimodal — under a single quote, booking, and tracking experience. Shippers don't switch tools when they switch lanes.
Let me check with the carrier and get back to you.
No mystery markups, no "let me check with the carrier and get back to you." Quotes are itemised, comparable side-by-side, and consistent with the final invoice.
Printed, signed, couriered, filed, then retrieved by hand.
Bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, customs paperwork — generated, signed, and shared digitally. No printing, no couriering between offices, no manual filing.
A template written for somebody else's trade lanes.
Multi-port, multimodal, multi-document, multi-language. The product is designed for the actual complexity of Indian trade — not a simplified caricature of it.
Reconstruct what happened from an email thread.
Every interaction is auditable. Every status change is timestamped. Every document version is preserved. The shipper can reconstruct exactly what happened, in what order, on any shipment — at any time.
Sustainability at TFFx is a process choice, not a marketing line. It's built into how the platform works — not bolted on as an afterthought, and not packaged as a sticker for the homepage. Every shipment is routed and consolidated to minimise empty miles. Documentation moves digitally. Where consolidation is possible, we'll suggest it before you book.
We don't make claims we can't back yet. Once we've moved enough cargo to publish honest numbers, we will. Until then, sustainability shows up in the way the product is designed — quietly, in the background, in the choices we make when no one's watching.
Every quote considers the most efficient lane and consolidation option, not just the cheapest carrier. Shippers see the trade-offs explicitly — price, transit time, environmental footprint — and choose with full information.
Bills of lading, invoices, customs forms — all generated and shared digitally. No printing, no couriering documents between agents and offices, no physical archives that have to be retrieved later.
For LCL and LTL shipments, the platform flags consolidation opportunities so shippers move less empty space. Lower cost and lower emissions are usually the same decision.
We're cautious with the language. No carbon-neutral badges, no offset programs we don't yet run, no percentage savings we can't defend. When we have data worth publishing, we'll publish it.
Origin, destination, commodity, value, frequency — these are signals about how a company is growing, who it's selling to, what it's importing and from where. When you trust TFFx with that information, we treat it as what it is: a window into your business that we have a duty not to misuse, leak, or hand out.
TLS 1.3 for everything moving over the network. AES-256 for data at rest. No exceptions for "internal" environments, no plaintext detours, no exports to insecure third-party tools.
Multi-user accounts with granular permissions. Your operations team sees what they need; your finance team sees what they need; an external partner sees only what you explicitly share. Defaults are restrictive, not permissive.
Customer data is hosted in compliant infrastructure. We tell you where it lives — and we'll tell you in advance if that ever changes. No silent data movement across regions.
Anything you ship through TFFx belongs to you. We don't sell it. We don't share it with third parties for marketing. Aggregated anonymised analytics are opt-in, not opt-out — and we'll always tell you what's included.
Every quote, every booking, every document share, every access request — logged and traceable. The account owner can reconstruct exactly who did what, when, on any shipment, at any time.
Built with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act in mind from the start, not retrofitted later. Notice, consent, purpose limitation, and the right to access and erase your data — handled as defaults, not as features.
Security and privacy aren't features we'll add later. They're the conditions for being trusted with the work in the first place.
The fastest way to understand TFFx is to use it. Get an instant quote in minutes — no account required. Or talk to a member of the team if you'd like to walk through how it could work for your shipments.
No customer counts, container volumes, "years of experience," or "trusted by 500+ brands" claims at launch. Every claim on this page is something the platform itself can deliver from day one.
No fabricated testimonials, no stock-photo quotes, no logos of brands we don't actually work with. When we have partners worth naming, we will name them, and not before.
No "carbon-neutral by 2030" without a roadmap, no "industry-leading" without a metric, no "AI-powered" without an algorithm. We say less than we could, and back what we say.
TFFx is new. We're proud of that — and honest about it. What you read on this page is what we believe and what we've built so far. As we grow, we'll publish what changes — including the things we got wrong.
